the manager (must be fire-retardant)

There are several secluded seating areas in the garden affording our Residents
adequate space and privacy to entertain their visitors.

We have full wheelchair access

A passenger lift and a wheelchair lift

We offer Nursing Care and Residential Care
•
We work with the Gold Standard system after having piloted the scheme in this
area
•
Relatives and visitors are welcome any time
•
There is a bus stop very close to the home and a good network of motorways in
the close vicinity
•
The local authority with whom we work is Wakefield Metropolitan District council

Family/friends can share a meal with their Relative

We encourage our Residents to retain their own GP/dentist if possible.

We have a regular hairdresser, manicurist and chiropodist

Spiritual

The local Anglican Minister performs a church service monthly. He offers
communion to Residents in private if appropriate
•
The local Catholic also visits us regularly and sees his parishioners individually
•
The Chestnuts also make every effort to fulfill the Spiritual needs of every one of
our Residents and welcome diversity
